Located in Beijing’s central business district, Dongshang is a contemporary Japanese restaurant and bar with wide selections of sake and Japanese whisky, composed of bamboo in many different forms and sizes. Using bamboo, a traditional material with strong connections to both Chinese and Japanese culture, the interior space successfully create an ambience that accentuates the arts and crafts covering the walls and ceilings.
