Transmuted Pages
Echoing the ancient art of alchemy, the book transforms publication design into a poetic act of deconstruction and rebirth. Through its transparent cover, readers glimpse the layered anatomy within—six vividly coloured chapters, each distinct in form, language, and material. Nine types of paper and ten hues converge to form a tactile spectrum of knowledge and craft, while a coarse, stone-textured cover gilded in gold recalls the alchemist’s pursuit of turning matter into meaning. Here, theory becomes texture, thought becomes structure—each page an artefact of transformation, revealing how design transmutes the intangible into luminous form.
