    This album chronicles the stories of ordinary people from 32 different Chinese provinces during the pandemic. The memories, or ‘small histories’, are in a black case, and readers have to tear open a perforated strip to reach 961 images documenting lives in quarantine. The punctuation represents the interruption and uncertainty that the virus has brought to these lives.
