    Beyond Nature and Culture

Transcending nature and culture, the 930 square metres of UCCA Dune is an art gallery that allows visitors to recontextualise the natural landscape and enjoy works of art in a uniquely inspirational setting. The construction is carefully balanced with the sustainability of the area’s ecology as a whole, creating a sanctuary for art, and a habitat for the coexistence of the human, plant and animal species which are of paramount importance to this project. Engaging not only with the constantly changing visual landscape of sea and sky, and also more abstract natural phenomena such as light and seasons, the museum has established a profound and radical connection with nature.
