Framing the Land
In Kyoto’s Keihoku, this timber retreat redefines the dialogue between architecture and nature. Its V-shaped roof and ribbed structure orient every space toward living landscapes—entire interior is a sculpted “thick frame” which guides light, view, and emotion, where craftsmanship and rural spirit of Satoyama quietly endure.
