Amid the bustling urban sprawl of Singapore, a house built as a high concrete box offsetting privacy with open space looks onto the street, unexpectedly using the whole site for natural ventilation and light. There are pockets of green space throughout the interiors, and perforations everywhere that regulate privacy, lighting, and airflow. Greenery reduces urban noise, and blends in and outdoors. Angled sunshades increase privacy, and the custom-built studio resonates with the owner's music.
