旅館座落京都最大的活化街道，項目保留了用作接待、餐廳、倉庫和23間客房等的26幢百年老建築等街道原貌。旅館以自然美為主題，結合建築原本的木樑，再以現代裝修技術加固，帶出一個充滿生氣的空間，以保育為本的設計方針讓遊客一嚐老京都的文化精粹。
