日本人口老化造成不少郊外村落沒落，設計團隊想活化社區，故構想這一家未來便利店，一方面為鄰近的漫畫圖畫館酒店住客提供基本設施，另一方面則希望便利店成為村莊居民的聚腳地，為村民與訪客提供一個交流的機會。
