建築原址為軍事重地，經改造後的公共休憩空間反映出二戰歷史。以保育為設計概念，設計師保留了碉堡原來的結構，修緝倒塌的內牆。團隊在不改變建築外貌下改善了室內通風。建築團隊結合新媒體與舊建築，交織過去與現在，教育後代守護和平的重要。
