這品種的日本蕃茄特別鮮甜的秘訣來自寒冬的太陽。產品生長於越後新潟市雪白的冬天，為了強調蕃茄「過冬」的綽頭，包裝設計結合蕃茄及冬眼中的北極熊為元素，創造出令人一看便愛上的可愛吉祥物。考慮到環保問題，包裝選用循環再造物料。
