⼩柳是⼀棟歷史悠久的傳統⽇式溫泉旅館，現為活化計畫中的⼀部分。旅館邀請藝術家波戸場承龍以松樹的特⾊設計出⼀款⽇式傳統圖紋作為新標識，展現旅館與所在地松本市密不可分的關係，搭配優雅又具現代感的字體，體現⽇本的⽣活藝術。品牌與視覺識別系統從標識、制服、旅客設施和網站設計，均啟發⾃當地的景觀、⽂化、歷史與居民的根源。
