短時間內興建符合國際規格的醫療中心
負壓感染控制中心提供多達815張病床，並以120天迅速興建，務求預防傳染病在社區爆發，提供合適的環境予病人接受治療及康復。整個項目配有一套完善的規劃，同時滿足各項本地醫院建築法例及國際技術規定，當中更採用了不同先進建築技術，包括建築資訊模型及模塊化組裝合成。雖然負壓隔離病房是由預製組件組成，設計團隊特意添加壁畫、採用鮮豔色彩設計及加設垂直花園，以減少中心整體冰冷及工業化的感覺，為醫護人員及病人提供更舒適及方便的環境。
