服飾設計 |香港知專設計學院畢業生 (時裝設計) | 時裝設計師
「服裝其實也具有解難能力—它可為傷患提供保護與舒緩效果，對他們的身心皆有治療作用。我希望能夠通過時裝設計探索更多可能。」
陳菀善是香港知專設計學院（HKDI）應屆畢業生，擁有時裝設計高級文憑。她的目標是希望透過設計舒適耐用的服裝，反映正面思維和可持續性的概念。她曾獲2019年HKDI學術交流獎學金，在瑞典進行了一個學期的交流學習。
陳菀善的可持續運動休閒服裝系列「Body Geometry」具備多功能，適合不同人士在不同季節及場合中穿著；它結合了復康治療概念，可為身體受傷患困擾的人士提供舒緩效果。「The Imprint of Light」系列是一項光影實驗，她在服裝設計上運用了數碼印刷，模仿投影以製造幻覺，實驗過程中使用了不同透光度的布料。
陳菀善計劃明年在港修讀諾丁漢特倫特大學的時裝設計學士課程，完成後將會踏上留學之旅。由於瑞典與芬蘭十分鼓吹發展可持續時裝設計的實驗及研究，因此她打算到兩地的大學繼續進修時裝及紡織設計，並期望日後能在香港推廣可持續、耐用和環境友善的時裝設計。
