張瑋晉擁有香港理工大學設計系(工業及產品設計)文學士學位。畢業後在商業機構工作了一年，便決定全情投入產品升級再造行列，並透過各種渠道提高公眾的環保意識。
張瑋晉獲高級時裝品牌愛馬仕Hermès旗下的環保品牌Petit h邀請，合作設計了「舞台場景(Scenography)」。他選用了Petit h巴黎工作室的大批絲巾碎料，運回香港後以不同色系和圖案分類，再以一個個竹圈裱成像樹葉一樣的裝飾，製作了一棵三層樓高的絲巾竹樹，這些七彩繽紛的絲綢樹葉圖案猶如泡沫般散落，燦爛又夢幻，代表著品牌天馬行空的玩味風格。另外，他還參與了一個結合聖誕裝置與社區教育的項目。項目在藍屋社區舉行，以約400個由街坊收集的紙包飲品盒製作成風車串，懸掛在石水渠街半空之上。項目既能教育灣仔社區街坊正確的回收方法，又能讓街坊為自己的社區增添生氣，一舉兩得。
張瑋晉希望到巴黎和根德郡的升級再造設計公司工作，學習再造回收物料的嶄新技術，以及升級再造產品的銷售與推廣。他希望今次的外國工作體驗能幫助他日後以創新方法來緩解香港的環保問題，繼續透過設計提高市民的環保意識。
