知識和信仰的交叉點
梅光學園大學CROSSLIGHT學習中心為該校50週年校慶而建。梅光學園大學是日本歷史最悠久的基督教高等學府之一。標誌和路標的設計相輔相成，它們都是以交叉的直線構成，也和校徽的十字架設計相呼應。這個易於識別的路標系統，其每一個路標都有一個十字形的標記指引路向，在輔以不同字母去顯示不同的設施。路標系統不單喚起基督教信仰中最重要的符號，而且也有效地發揮其實際用途。透過設計，這個指示路徑的傳意工具加添了哲理色彩，而且，無獨有偶地，其十字架宗教象徵表達出《聖經》的金句：「人心籌算自己的道路． 惟主指引他的腳步。」（箴言16：9） 十字符號也隱含著交流和穿越兩個意思，這也是追求學問和建立價值觀的重要元素。梅光學園的學生在使用路標系統時不只能找到目的地，也能在使用這個極具啟發性的設計的瞬間反思和反省己身，尋找自己的路向，並繼續在信仰和學習的氛圍之中邁步。
