環境設計 | 建築設計師 高級建築師
「物料不僅是關於它自身形態的轉變，還影響人走進建築之內的體驗。它塑造空間的氛圍，甚至決定整體建築的形式。」
註冊建築師陳思穎2019年於荷蘭Delft University of Technology完成其建築學、城市規劃與建築科學碩士課程，此前她在香港分別於2012年及2014年取得香港大學專業進修附屬學院的建築學高級文憑，及Curtin University of Technology的應用科學（建築科學）學士學位。
就讀碩士期間，陳思穎對建築物料興趣尤深。2018年，她獲荷蘭建築事務所Studio Ossidiana邀請參與一個建築設計比賽。參賽項目「Amsterdam Allegories」的概念，是在阿姆斯特丹以21座小浮島構想21種公共空間的可能，並由陳思穎負責其中幾座島的設計和製作。因電腦繪圖的凹凸線條不夠自然，陳思穎跳過繪圖，直接以泥土塑形再以石膏倒模的方式不斷嘗試，為求尋找出一個出乎意料的形態。整個項目最終得到Prix de Rome Architecture 2018獎項肯定。
Studio Ossidiana的每個項目都從物料出發，與陳思穎在建築設計上持續探索的方向一致。她畢業後繼續在事務所工作，期間參與了多個項目，包括為2021年威尼斯建築雙年展創作的「Platform for Human and Birds」。
2021年回港後，陳思穎在注重物料探索的建築事務所Shadow Design任職高級建築師，參與新近完成的愉景灣及中環三號碼頭翻新項目。對於未來，陳思穎以成立自己的工作室為目標，並希望到瑞士建築師Peter Zumthor的工作室學習——Peter Zumthor通過物料塑造空間氛圍的手法，正是她個人理念的啟發來源。
