「紋身諮詢經驗教會了我如何與人建立聯繫。我的客戶經常分享他們的內心想法和負面經歷，這演變成一段有生命力的療癒旅程。吸收他們的負面情緒可能會令人疲憊，但卻讓我逐漸發展成為一種藝術創作的方向，因此這些相遇不但為我提供寶貴的觀點，還啟發了我的靈感。」
丘國強在中學時期已對藝術充滿熱情，於2009年獲得香港設計學院的視覺資訊設計高級文憑，並於2012年獲得香港理工大學的傳意設計學士學位。從那時起，他對插畫和出版產生了興趣。2010年，他與設計學院的同學共同創立了設計藝術單位Dirty Paper，並在個展和團體展覽中展示他們的插畫作品。
2018年，丘國強愛上了紋身藝術，並開設了自己的紋身工作室Rest and Tattoo。作為一位自學的紋身藝術家，他進行面對面的諮詢，將紋身藝術與平面設計互相結合，為他的紋身賦予獨特新穎的美學，通過與自己內心的批判性和內省性溝通，將複雜的故事轉化為抽象簡約的符號。丘氏將紋身過程視為自我療癒的陪伴，藉此拉近人與人之間的關係。
丘國強的非傳統紋身不會跟隨身體的自然曲線設計，而是以平直的條狀紋身為基礎，飾以幾何圖案。他的Loss of the Beloved紋身系列探索了客戶失去摯愛的經歷。而The Expression of Self-Identity紋身系列則是一個為期三年的項目，記錄了一位客戶的成長和自我發現。除紋身之外，丘國強還創作了一個名為Begin the End的多媒體藝術裝置，在團體展覽中展出。他現在計劃到德國工作，與專門從事實驗性和抽象紋身的紋身工作室合作。
