活化傳統
城市的歷史埋沒在急促發展中，但武漢藝術館的建築風格提醒我們過去與現在可以並存。館內每個物件與傢俱都蘊含文化回憶。休息間的座椅令人回想起過去街坊在家門口閒話家常的街頭文化。建築師重整傳統組合屋的間隔，舊式的鐘樓及天台簡化成幾何立方體。整個結構看似隨便，實際經過深思熟慮，以帶出玩味與城市的活力。
