香港機場管理局最新一期的保育計劃是運用100個人工珊瑚吸引海藻及貝殻類生物居住，設計師設計了具有不同大小洞口的環形混凝土構件，放置在水下，為食物鏈底層的海洋生物提供棲息之所，保護周邊海洋環境的生態環境。
