"I wish I could find the balance between design and culture"
Sara has a BA in Communication Design from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design and is a beneficiary of the Fung Scholarship. She won an award in the 2017 DISH Global Centre for Food Safety logo competition.
In 2017 Sara produced "Word - from Mankind", an illustrated book about four typographers in Hong Kong who still use handmade designs, and the assignment of repackaging walnut biscuits for a bakery promotion. Her 2019 graduation project "Panoramarket" is a set of postcards, a calendar and leaflets of typical, colourful Hong Kong markets. Sara, whose solutions are always original and often metaphorical narratives wants her vivid designs to blend local cultural elements into the meaningful, everyday stories they tell about Hong Kong.
