"We believe there should be no boundaries or restrictions to craft, create and customize"
After studying at the Architectural Association School of Architecture, UK, Tommy, an award-winning RIBA Chartered Architect, was 1st runner up in the RIBA HK Tree of Light Competition, and is currently working with Conran and Partners HK. He believes in an interdisciplinary approach, and projects he has been working on include F&B, hospitality, residential towers and architectural installations.
Tommy's Bubble Membrane Painting Machine, which won the Japan Wired Magazine Creative Hack Award, is an experimental art device designed to use colour spray paint to test the structural weight and tension of a bubble membrane. Although he wants to focus on interiors and small scale architecture, Tommy is keen to introduce authentic regional designs and is also interested in digital fabrication, mechanical installation and integrating geometric patterns and colours.
