Au Choi Shan is a graduate of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University School of Design, specialising in Environment and Interior Design. Her passion for kinetic design drives her exploration of how movement can transform architectural spaces into dynamic and meaningful experiences that resonate with their users.

During her studies, she spent six months as an exchange student at the University of Edinburgh, where she gained invaluable insights into the relationship between nature and design. Witnessing how sundew plants react to stimuli significantly shaped her understanding of kinetic design and its implications for architecture. This experience deepened her belief that spaces should not only serve functional purposes but also evoke curiosity and inspiration.

Au Choi Shan is eager to continue exploring the potential of kinetic design to elevate everyday environments. She aims to deepen her understanding of movement in design, creating innovative solutions that foster interaction, connection, and a sense of wonder within our built spaces.
