Fashion & Accessory Design | Design GraduateCheung Ho Yin (Vincent) graduated from Fashion Design (Knitwear) in Hong Kong Design Institute and received the Third Prize in the 2025 Hong Kong Young Knitwear Designers' Contest. He is devoted to exploring contemporary expressions of local cultural elements and traditional craftsmanship, skillfully merging Eastern aesthetics with an international design language.
His two collections draw inspiration from the modern learning experiences of Hong Kong students and the interactive relationship between ancient bamboo slips and human beings. By employing innovative knitting techniques and modern materials, he reinterprets traditional symbols to create a fashion narrative that embodies cultural depth while maintaining a contemporary sensibility.
Vincent’s ultimate vision is to establish a fashion brand dedicated to knitwear and the revival of traditional craftsmanship. Through design as a medium, he aims not only to preserve and pass on disappearing artisanal traditions but also to infuse them with new vitality, enabling the world to appreciate the profound spirituality and beauty of local culture.
