Five Roofs
Shaped by Yokohama’s strict building codes, the residence adapts to its context through five modestly scaled roof volumes finished in traditional kawara tiles. Setbacks and sloping forms reduce visual weight, balancing the home’s generous footprint with the surrounding neighbourhood’s rhythm and preserving harmony within the streetscape.
