Rewoven Dwelling
Revitalising two 1930s Shanghai lane houses, the design merges old brick, timber, and new steel into a living framework of memory and renewal. Split levels intertwine through sculptural stairs and double-height voids, finding harmony between openness and closure—an adaptive experiment in intergenerational living and quiet urban continuity.
