Garden Dwelling
Conceived as a home that unfolds like a strolling garden, this residence dissolves the boundary between architecture and landscape. A series of interlocking volumes, shaped by the irregular site, create layered gardens that weave light, air, and greenery through daily life. Each space—be it the stone kitchen countertop resembling a garden boulder or a Japanese tatami room set like a pavilion—reveals a quiet dialogue between nature and craft. Openings frame shifting scenes of foliage and shadow, offering both intimacy and openness. Rather than dominating its surroundings, the house settles gently into the neighbourhood, living and breathing with the landscape.
