Corner Oasis
Anchored at a bustling crossroads in Manila, this four-storey structure rises like a living organism—open, porous, and attuned to the rhythm of the tropics. Its cascading ground plane draws the city inward, unveiling an expansive atrium where glass volumes seem to float in air. A spiralling 500-metre ramp winds through the architecture, weaving movement and encounter into a continuous promenade—a path for jogging, dining, or quiet reflection suspended above the urban din. The building’s skin breathes with the weather: motorised louvers and roller blinds shift fluidly between enclosure and exposure, transforming the space with each monsoon or sunlit breeze. Light, too, becomes architecture—dichroic skylights fracture daylight into iridescent beams that drift across the pale steel grid. At its summit, a rooftop terrace emerges among verdant berms, where the city fades to horizon—a sanctuary shaped by motion, air, and light.
