The Beauty of Use
Rooted in the forests of Nobeoka in Japan, this furniture collection finds poetry in imperfection. Knots, curves, and natural marks—once dismissed as flaws—become signatures of authenticity. Crafted from locally sourced Hinoki, each piece embraces the tree in its entirety, from trunk to branch to ash, which is reborn as ceramic glaze. Subtle angles lend visual lightness, while rounded edges reveal a quiet tactility that endures over time. Defined by organic simplicity and local craft, the design speaks to a deeper rhythm between people and nature—transforming sustainability from a method into a timeless expression of respect and renewal.
