    Circles of Resonance

Emerging from the Annulus Project’s dialogue between craft, music, and visual art, the generative video transforms sound into motion through real-time programming. Responding to a live handpan performance forged with Japanese metalworking techniques, each tone ripples across the screen as a fluid algorithmic landscape. The aim was to create a form of “moving print” that bridges the tactile presence of traditional printmaking with digital expression. Visually inspired by karesansui gardens and celestial forms, the work reflects the Zen notion of enso—a circle of completeness—where sound and image converge in quiet, meditative motion.
