Layers of Tranquility
Created to mark the fifth anniversary of a Kyoto hotel, the book structures its narrative around five Japanese concepts—Keshiki, Miyabi, Utsuroi, Oku, and Kasane. Minimal typography, ample margins, and hand-sewn Watoji binding embody Kyoto’s precision, allowing the pages to unfold with poised serenity.
