DFA Design for Asia Awards 2024 l Bronze Award l Service & Experience Design l ExperienceDigital Pilgrimage
The oldest Mazu temple in Taiwan, Beigang Chaotian Gong, embraced cutting-edge 5G and XR technology by creating a groundbreaking immersive experience. Blending traditional elements such as firecrackers, prayers and the YI-GE float parade with modern innovation, the '5G Digital Art YI-GE' transforms cultural heritage into an interactive digital showcase. This eco-friendly project minimises waste through mobile, reusable systems, offering a fresh take on a centuries-old celebration.
