Summer Shade
The vibrant orange colour of this structure was chosen to reflect Wuhan’s intense summer heat, embracing the city’s energy rather than resisting it. The bold orange mesh roof and modular scaffolding create a striking visual presence, while the use of eco-friendly, reusable materials underscores a commitment to sustainability. At the heart of the design, an inflatable diver atop a central pool draws attention, inviting visitors to pause and interact. Bamboo beds evoke the simple joys of past summers, offering spaces for connection and reflection.
