Millbound Minds
Transformed from an abandoned paper mill, this school reimagines industrial spaces to accommodate a modern, dynamic learning environment. Original bricks and materials were repurposed, preserving the building’s historical essence while minimising waste. Skylights invite natural light, reducing energy consumption, while multipurpose areas like a sports hall, tiered classrooms and rehearsal spaces foster creativity and collaboration. Public areas serve as informal libraries, seamlessly integrating learning and exploration throughout the school.
