Brewery Renaissance
Housed within the Jiangnan water town region, the renovation of this rural brewery deftly merges industrial heritage with sustainable design. Retaining key architectural elements like exposed red brick walls, chimneys and trusses, the project reimagines the space through adaptive reuse and recycling, while channeling the austere and restrained aesthetic of industrial architecture. By integrating new frameworks and repurposing materials, the design not only preserves historical memory but also revitalises the community by creating a dynamic cultural hub for theatre production.
