    Framed Views

Shakkei, or borrowed scenery—a traditional Japanese concept that integrates the natural landscape into the design—is beautifully showcased in this seaside villa. The skip-floor layout creates tiered levels, offering breathtaking views of the sea and mountains from every room, while minimalist interiors and pristine white walls further accentuate the natural beauty. With ocean views on one side and mountains on the other, the design fosters a deeper connection between architecture and Awajishima’s unique landscape.
