Looped Learning
This boarding school in Futian redefines educational spaces by merging modern design with urban context. The campus features a dynamic, multi-level layout, allowing natural light and ventilation to permeate throughout, reducing the need for air conditioning. A unique ‘loop’ design interconnects the buildings, creating social spaces like rooftop gardens, amphitheatres and open-air classrooms that foster spontaneous interaction. The facade, with its sleek second skins, blends seamlessly into the urban landscape, while eco-conscious features like rain gardens and green roofs support biodiversity, creating a vibrant learning environment that connects students to both nature and the city. -
