    Glazed Boundaries
Nesting within the historic Wangbang Village, this project blends a cafe and exhibition space dedicated to the Buncheong ceramics tradition. Inspired by the natural environment, the design breaks from conventional indoor displays, showcasing ceramics against an outdoor backdrop framed by eight walls that link the surrounding mountains. The concept honours the minimalist beauty of Korean ceramics, particularly the Deombeong Buncheong pottery, known for its calm and simple forms. The result is an immersive experience where architecture and nature converge, offering a reflective space for tea and art appreciation.
