Lodges of Light
Like a burst of fireworks igniting the night sky, the Spark Lodges illuminate the rural landscape of Jinkeng Village in Liuyang, a city renowned for its fireworks industry. These three-story lodges blend contemporary design with natural beauty, drawing inspiration from the surrounding rice fields and mountains. The translucent polycarbonate panels on the roof create a captivating visual effect, shifting from frosted white in daylight to glowing lanterns at night. Large floor-to-ceiling windows on the ground floor invite the outdoors in, offering panoramic views that unfold like a Chinese scroll painting, while higher levels provide more intimate, framed vistas of the countryside. Designed to embrace the village’s evolving tourism industry, these lodges serve as both a retreat and a symbol of innovation, merging modern comforts with the timeless rhythms of the landscape. They stand as a testament to the harmonious fusion of form and function, lighting up the future of rural living. -
