Playful Reflections
The ‘Park Solo’ exhibition takes us on an imaginative journey, reimagining playground facilities to explore the dynamics of human relationships through play. The visual identity is rooted in contrasting materials: the sandy kraft texture evokes childhood nostalgia, while metallic silver adds a modern, captivating edge. This contrast mirrors the artist’s signature style of blending metal into her installations. A playful set of ‘P’ letters, each with unique textures, was designed to reflect the distinct character of each artwork, encouraging adults to rediscover the joy of play and its role in nurturing relationships. Adding a nostalgic twist, a scratchable postcard was created to evoke childhood memories and reinforce the artist’s core message. Hosted in a Grade II historic monument, the exhibition transformed the building into a large, interactive lightbox, further turning it into a playground for all ages. With recycled kraft paper for sustainability, the project was well-received globally, earning accolades from various design platforms.
