Fashion & Accessory Design | Graduate of PolyU (Fashion & Textiles)Psy obtained her Higher Diploma in Fashion Design Menswear at the Hong Kong Design Institute in 2020, and her BA in Fashion and Textiles at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2023. She received the Avery Dennison Best Embellishment Award at the POLYU Fashion Show 2022, and the Redress Design Award 2021 – Hong Kong Best Prize.
Psy believes fashion designers should go beyond aesthetics, offering solutions and meaningful messages through their work. Her Final Year Project "Till Death Do Us Apart" is inspired by Nicholas James Vujicic, an Australian Christian evangelist born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of arms and legs.. Her collection tells the story of someone with disabilities embracing life and relationships. Through functional yet storytelling garments, Psy emphasises that individuals with disabilities also deserve love and human rights. Her clothing can be transformed into a tent and lifejacket, enabling wearers to embark on adventures with their loved ones.
