This site, between a residential area and a shrine forest, had complex building regulations. The building area was approximately 30 square metres, and to make the most of the space the architects raised the ceiling to increase the volume, and installed three windows with wonderful views opening onto the forest surrounding the ceramics studio. A wooden spiral staircase acts as the backbone of the building, connecting all three floors.
