PRACTICAL YET PICTURESQUE
No formal materials, construction, or symbols in this suburban homestay, where the architect has created a surrealist experience with thick seven-metre-high walls encircling the main building, blocking out the elements. The wall traps heat in winter and keeps the house cool in summer with minimal use of electricity.
