THE WORLD’S A STAGE
The lobby ceiling features unusual lighting from tightly stacked small spotlights. The rectangular volumes crisscross each other at seemingly random angles, forming an amazing spectacle, and the extensive use of bronze creates reflective surfaces, playing up the dazzling pattern of light and shadow produced by the spotlights, and creating a stage for live performances in the lobby, intended to encourage social interaction in the local community.
