A vibrantURBAN OASIS
The latest revitalisation by this architectural firm is Central Market, the pre-war wet market in downtown Hong Kong. The spirit of the old Bauhaus building is preserved, while the spatial layout has been reinvented with expressive horizontal lines, and the grand staircase transformed into a public cinema with interactive LED, sound absorbing walls, and state-of-the-art cinematic technology. Seven hundred green plants adorn the interior, bringing a rare sight of soothing greenery to the heart of the bustling city.
