    BEER OR COFFEE?

This pop-up coffee shop, a month-long event in a gallery space, introduced a coffee culture to the local community. To convert Shenyang's beer-loving crowd, there was a bar in the centre of the shop made of 300 beer cases, and its monumental scale attracted clients. The industrial aesthetics of makeshift shop furniture created a friendly, inviting place for non-coffee drinkers too, and the juxtaposition of beer cases and coffee machine resulted in a lively dialogue between local and imported goods.
