INDUSTRIAL GLORY
This exhibition, highlighting the history of manufacturing and fine craftsmanship in Tsubame-Sanjo, was held in a vast abandoned factory. Displays featuring local products and manufacturing processes were paired with videos to present a detailed view of regional industries. The exhibit used sheet metal and matte aluminium as building materials to complement the industrial setting, and a large, curved screen that doubled as a bench was placed in the centre. Metal factory storage carts were used as display tables - and returned to use after the exhibition, so that nothing was wasted.
