A DREAMY OFFICE LANDSCAPE
Over more than forty years of rapid urbanisation, Shenzhen has been continuously observed, recorded and interpreted, and the two-month long ‘Selections from the Taikang Collection’ exhibition shows its ever-changing urban environment. Located in an office tower in downtown Shenzhen that is scheduled for renovation, this temporary exhibit explores the relationship between individuals and the city. The display is designed as a typical office space, and surrounded by inflatable translucent PVC block partitions, which create an eerie almost serene glow when the sun shines through the windows, and add a soft touch and dreamy atmosphere to an otherwise sterile office space.
