HONOURING TRADITION
Inspired by the iconography of the god of wealth as depicted at the Lunar New Year, the design team collaborated with a woodblock print master to convey the essence of tradition in the technology of this credit card. The embossed illustration on the credit card imitates the texture of classic hand-carved wood blocks, and, subtly yet extraordinarily, also celebrates time-honoured crafts passed down from generation to generation, tapping into cultural memory and folkcraft aesthetics.
