Virtual fitting rooms let customers try on clothes to see how they look, and check the size. Quantum Fit, or QFIT technology, is one of the world’s leading fashion auto-fitting retail systems, and generates 3D animation with wear simulation, user interactivity and style suggestions. The patented Scan-to-Avatar Automation and Real-time Auto-fit Clothing Systems offer instant high-resolution, virtual try-on solutions to manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. At-home shoppers find the digital tool useful, and shops use the technology too as, connected to retail systems, QFIT streamlines the supply chain and reduces inventory. In a collaboration with sustainable fashion curator Johanna Ho and Spanish designer Ernesto Naranjo, QFIT was shown to refresh the whole shopping experience as shoppers created their own avatars and customised their clothes in a specialty retail and exhibition space in Hong Kong.
