COMPLEMENTARY CONTRAST
‘A Muse by the Sea’ refers to the shopping mall by the seashore and its imposing architecture. The red packet design is a combination of two graphic elements bisecting the cover, and the embossed pattern on coloured paper highlights five of the most representative architectural features of the mall. The graphics of flowing water on matte gold on the other half of the cover symbolise wealth, and endless inspiration, and the contrasting colours and materials add a dynamic tension to the packaging.
